‘Amar Jyoti School for the Visually Impaired’ was established by Diocese of Varanasi in July 2012 as an expression of the concern of the Church for all the differently able children. The school aims at rehabilitation of the visually impaired children through literacy classes and through community-based rehabilitation (CBR).
