Objectives of Amar Jyoti School:

• To render service to the visually impaired children of the area irrespective of caste, creed and religion, by providing them diagnostic aid, primary and secondary education

 

• Provide inclusive education, vocational training etc., according to their level of intelligence and work towards self -reliance, social adjustment and total rehabilitation of such students.

 

• Provide counselling to the parents and other family members of visually impaired and of other disability for better result and their active participation in the community based rehabilitation programme

 

 

• Network and coordination with government agencies and other service providers for ensuring schemes and entitlement of the differently able and also promoting 'Life Skill' trainings and Livelihood opportunities for the visually impaired and other disabled.
